My Dear Little Stitchers,

thanks to those of you who left me comments. I am thrilled to get them.

Today is one of those "funny" days in Texas where there is a cold front blowing in. The wind has picked up, my back hurts, and in general, the temp is going to drop. We have a saying here: "If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes, and it will change". Of course, that is only in the winter, as it justs gets hot and stays hot in the summer, which lasts from March until November.
I exagerate only slightly.

I have been stitching away on my biscornus. I will have to wait until the first of the month to get the new memory card for my new camers. I got a great deal on the camera through QVC, but the memory card was not included. Oh well.

I have spent the afternoon at my diabetes doctor - Dr. Michelle Welch. My friend, Joyce Beauchamp, and I always try to get appointments on the same day at close to the same time. Joyce suffered concussion syndrom in an accident several years ago. She tends to get a little lost when driving. I can navigate anywhere. Did it through Luxemburg, Germany, France, Italy, and Austria. I lived in Germany way back in the day, as the kids say, when I was an Air Force wife. Haven't been that since '76.

After our appointments, we waited for the class that was going to be held. I am on the insulin pump. Joyce is not, but as an RN, she wanted to learn more about the pump. It was a great class, and then we came home.

I am waiting for my friend, Helen Grindley, to come get me so we can go eat Pizza, and go to see
"The Secret Life of Bees". I am not sure why Helen wanted to go to the 9 Pm showing, but Oh Well. I would have just sat at home and embroidered.......

Hope all of you are doing well. I am going to ask you to keep an eye out for something for me.
I would like to find some Jewish Biscornus. If you see any, please let me know.

Hugs,
Marsha
